Jackie Behr is herd nutritionist for Keystone Farm Future, working with our processors to ensure that our cattle have proper diet and nutrition in order to raise high-quality cattle, grading to the specifications of our clients. Jackie grew up in Lancaster County and comes from a family business involved in agriculture and nutrition. Jackie is a Penn State graduate, certified ARPAS member and is BQA Certified. Jackie has been working with R&J Dairy Consulting since 2009. R&J Consulting was started in 2006 and is an independent consulting group made up of 7 consultants serving Pennsylvania. R&J Consulting is passionate about working with family-owned farms, providing pricing and feed options through local, high-quality mills on blended feeds and on-farm mineral packs.
R&J offers more than just feed options, they are full-service consultants offering feed ingredient options, routine farm visits, ration balancing, cost analysis, on-farm technical support and much more.
In 2014, Jackie expanded the R&J Dairy Consulting business, adding beef nutrition, rebranding to R&J Livestock Consulting. Jackie’s background helps her understand the value of a family-owned business and she enjoys working with each farm. She is passionate about feeding beef cattle, researching and problem solving to make a difference in farm profitability and animal health. Jackie believes each farm is unique and enjoys analyzing and working with them to make a custom program to achieve their farm goals. Outside of work, she is a wife and proud mom of two young girls. Jackie also serves as a 97 MILK board member.
